Amethyst - Heat Treated

Heat treated Amethyst is commonly sold as Citrine. It is not Citrine nor does it carry any of the metaphysical properties of Citrine! 

Amethyst crystals are heated at extremely high temperatures until it changes colour giving it a burnt yellow look. 

Heat treated Amethyst still resonates with the metaphysical properties of Amethyst but also with the vibration of the colour Yellow.
